Ski-Orienteering, Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Center

Note - start time moved from 11:30 am to 11:00 am

Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Center will be having their end-of-season party with music and food. The main event will be a one-hour score-o similar to the Easter egg hunt on skis we did last year. However, this year we will gather shamrocks left over from St. Patrick's Day.

Get to as many control points circled on the map as you can within 1 hour. You can go to the controls in any order.  Punch your card at each location. We'll have some devious system for finding shamrocks worth bonus points. Tie scores will be decided by fastest time. If you take more than 1 hour, you will lose a point for every minute you are overtime, so don’t be late.

Registration opens at 10 am. Mass start at 11:00 am. Finish by 12:00 noon. The event is free to individuals and teams, so come on up and enjoy the snow.

A sno-park permit is required. Rental equipment is available at the Nordic Center.

Mt. Hood Meadows is located across from the Teacup Lake sno-park, on Hwy 35, eight miles east of the Hwy 26 split. This is the lower, eastern, Hood River Meadows lot. Park on the far right end.
