Notice, Nov 15: Due to the new Oregon restrictions on outdoor gatherings, this event is postponed, probably until spring 2021.
This event will follow special procedures due to COVID-19 to reduce risks to participants.
If you do not feel completely well, please stay home.
This event is open to anyone who is a member of an orienteering club.
The course will have an on-site volunteer on Saturday, November 28 to record start and finish times and provide some guidance.
We will have assigned start times to minimize the number of participants in the start area at the same time.
The course will remain open through Friday, December 4 for self starts.
Face masks are required except when actually on the course.
Please observe social distancing courtesy.
We will eliminate common objects to touch as much as possible.
For the November 28 event, we will be back to using our regular e-punches! You can bring your own estick, use one of ours (for free) which will be safely packaged with your map ahead of time, or use a control card to write down the letters that you will find on each control.
For self starts November 29 through December 4, we will be using the Sporteering app as we have the past three meets. Learn how to use the Sporteering app here.
We are not conducting skills clinics or renting compasses at this event.
