CROC Member Training-Sprint Orienteering at Columbia Park

The CROC member training series offers an opportunity to practice and improve orienteering skills and learn with others.  Each event will focus on particular orienteering aspects. The training series is for club members only. There is no cost for members for these informal events.

Come out to Columbia Park in North Portland and work on sprint orienteering skills on a new map made by CROC member, Virginia Church.

Practice checking your clue sheet, maintaining focus during changes of direction, and concentrating while having other racers make route choices around you. Or just come out and enjoy a little park sprint on an autumn day.

The Mass Start will begin at 10:15. If you're late or prefer not to start with the masses, I'll have maps available until 10:30.

Send an email by October 19th to Abra McNair to RSVP for the event.
