Zer-O Series - Pier Park

Description

The final event in the 2016 Zero-O training series features a short course at Pier Park in north Portland.

Schedule

Starts will be open from 6:00 to 6:30. Late comers are welcome but control pick up will begin about 20 to 30 minutes after the last start or 7:00, whichever comes first.

Where to Meet

There is a paved trail at the T-intersection of James St. and Reno Ave.  That's a good spot to park.

Then follow the trail about 200 feet to an intersection.  Turn Left and go another 200 feet.  Look for a picnic shelter, picnic area D.  If you pass the playground you've gone too far.

45.6012, -122.7558 = latitude longitude coordinates of meeting spot. Type these into Google maps or a smart phone mapping app to get a map and driving directions to the event.

Beginners

As at all CROC meets, beginners are welcome! Participants or the meet director will be happy to give you tips for getting started in the sport.

Cost: No charge!

About the Zer-O Series

On all "Zer-O" dates (10th, 20th, 30th of the month) from April through September, CROC offers training courses - some with added training exercises - in different Portland area parks. These are informal events, with no fees, no timing and no results posted. This is the last event of the 2016 series.
