Zer-O Series - Catherine Creek

Catherine Creek is about a 15 minute drive from Hood River in the Eastern Columbia River Gorge. It features spectacular spring wildflowers, a cool rock arch, open oak woodland, and yes, a few stout patches of poison oak and some loose rocks. The terrain is open and allows travel in most any direction.

Course length:  Middle distance is 5.2km and sprint is 2.4km.

Note - various start times. Middle distance start times will be from 9:00 to 9:30.  Control pick-up for controls 1-11 will begin at 11:30 and they will be picked up in order and control pick up for controls 12-18 will start at 12:00.

Sprint start will be open 10:00 to 1:00 with control pick up beginning at 1:30.

There is a 750m walk to the start of the middle with the finish adjacent to parking; the start of the sprint is 100m away across the road with the finish60m away from parking

As always the cost is FREE, but you must pre-register by contacting Scott Drumm by 5 p.m. Saturday, August 29 (unless you've registered for this event as part of Deschutes Daze).
