Please note: This event is taking place at Lacamas Creek, not Lacamas Lake.
Terrain: Normal NW woods, some steep slopes, some marsh. (RSVP required.)
Attire: Shorts not recommended. Some route choices may get your feet wet.
Map: 1:10,000 for practice with a different scale.
Tips: Contours are important for making your route choices.
Beginners: As at all CROC meets, beginners are welcome and highly encouraged to attend! Participants or the meet director will be happy to give you tips for getting started in the sport.
Schedule: Starts are from 6 to 7pm, with course pick up commencing about 15 minutes after the last starter.
Directions to Lacamas Creek Park: (45.595, -122.392) From I-5 or I-205 take the Hwy. 14 exit to Camas. Take exit 12 to NW 6th Ave. Continue to Garfield St. Turn right, turn left onto 3rd Ave. When you pass Louis Bloch Park on your right, prepare for a left turn. At the intersection with East First Ave., turn left into the drive to the trail head parking.
Post Event: No potluck planned.
Cost: This event is free of charge, but you must RSVP so that we have a map for you.
