Champoeg State Park potluck and night-O

We’ve decided to try something a bit different at Champoeg this year. Plan now to join us for an afternoon of orienteering, followed by a potluck and then evening orienteering.

Day O will start in the eastern part of the park. Follow the signs to the start area.

Day-O registration opens at noon. White, Yellow, and Sprint courses are open from noon to 3 p.m.

An evening potluck at the group shelter starts at 5 p.m.

The Night O will start from the group shelter at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Event fees: $8 - individual (non-member); $12 - group (non-member); $6 - individual (club member); $10 - group(club member); $2 - extra color map copy; $1 - compass rental.

Directions: From Interstate 5, take the Donald exit (Exit 278). Follow the signs to Champoeg Park: Drive west on Ehlen Road. Turn right on Case Road, then left on Champoeg Road. Turn right into the park at the entrance. Follow the orienteering signs to the start area.
